OK
I will be running the rifts game - since I dont know much about it I will have to more or less wing it.
Keep your current characters - I will fit you in.
The setting will be the rifts core setting - If you want to change characters, now would be a good time to do it.
The start will be in a place called Black Ridge - a hodgepodge town where most races hang out in peace (well, some of the time anyways). There are many jobs available for those who want work, shops to sell your things and a thriving black market for those who want ... special items and services.
This is a free town that defends itself from the "friendly" overtures from the CS (Coalition States) and from attempts by members of the FoM (Federation of Magic) to use the town to its own fell needs.
The town has several times been a focal point in clashes between the CS and FoM and has had to be rebuilt multiple times, but its people and services persist. There is no law here, but the locals will not abide overly destructive individuals and will run them out of town. Failing that, they plant them in the cemetary if there is anything left of them to bury.
Here anything can be bought and sold and where anything can and will happen. Various adventerous groups call this place home due to its nearness to old ruins and access to lake Michigan (well ... its sorta close. About 60 miles away) and other ruins not claimed by CS or FoM.
Many merc groups also make this place home as there are MANY factions from various places that come here that need hired muscle for one reason or other.

So, Godzilla gave up on running it? Or did he just want to play more than run it? I think I might change my character. I had forgotten how much repairing and rearming a cyborg could cost. _________________ If you hack the Vatican server, have you tampered in God's domain? |

Alrighty -
That first game was a bit ...
explosive.
Now I know better
This is what I am going to do - I am going to put everyone at 3000 XP - most of you should be 2nd, a few may be a third.
I will try not to put you all in such a TPK without more ways out - I didnt mean to do that ... but it was still funny in a way
See you all next week! |
